Hall A of ‘Smart Tech Korea (STK) 2026’, held on the 12th at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. This was the question heard most frequently at each enterprise AI stand. As generative AI expands beyond simple document writing and searches into competition among AI agents that perform actual tasks, visitors’ interest was also intense.

While past exhibitions focused on introducing which large language models (LLMs) were being used, this year was different. Demonstrations showing what tasks AI could actually take over in corporate settings continued throughout the exhibition hall. At some stands, queues of corporate representatives waiting for consultations stretched out considerably.

Samsung SDS was one of the places that attracted the most visitors. Samsung SDS placed its enterprise generative AI platform FabriX front and centre. Demonstrations of the process of connecting internal data, finding materials, writing reports and supporting work attracted visitors’ attention. For all three days of the event, so many visitors waited around the stand to hear about the FabriX platform that it was surrounded by queues.

CLEVI introduced Ivy, a multimodal AI platform. It is an enterprise AI agent that simultaneously understands document, image and video data, searches internal knowledge and processes tasks. Corporate representatives continued to make enquiries after hearing that it could reduce repetitive work and increase the use of knowledge within organisations.

Acryl showcased the integrated AI platform JONATHAN. Its key feature is that it provides an integrated environment for operating AI services and building agents. GPUBASE, unveiled alongside it, is a solution that efficiently allocates and increases the utilisation of graphics processing unit (GPU) resources held by enterprises. As demand for GPUs surges with the spread of generative AI, it attracted the attention of corporate representatives by enabling limited infrastructure to be used efficiently.

ElevenLabs, a global voice AI company, unveiled its voice-based AI agent ‘ElevenAgents’. It demonstrated natural voice conversations and automated content creation, introducing potential applications in customer consultations and the content industry.

Persona AI showcased a customer service solution combining AI agents and AI human technology. In particular, a demonstration linking a humanoid robot with AI attracted the attention of visitors. It directly demonstrated that Persona AI’s AI technology can be integrated with physical AI. Crowds gathered to experience the sight of a humanoid robot larger than a person recognising speech, moving naturally and performing movements.

The competition among enterprise AI agents continued in Halls B and D. WRTN Technologies, one of South Korea’s leading generative AI companies, unveiled an AI contact centre (AICC) solution supporting consultation work. It demonstrated functions that automatically summarise consultation content and recommend anticipated questions and answers.

MegazoneSoft introduced a platform that enables users to create and run AI agents directly based on Google’s Gemini Enterprise. ITCEN showcased ‘AgentGo 2026’, which integrates and manages multiple AI agents in an enterprise environment, and began targeting the enterprise AI operations platform market.

At the event, it was assessed that the criteria for competition in AI had changed. Rather than which AI model is used, the ability to automate actual work and increase productivity is becoming the new competitive advantage.

An Expo Forum official who helped prepare the event with Maeil Business Media said, “The stage of introducing generative AI has ended, and we are now moving on to the stage of introducing AI agents that perform actual work,” adding, “Companies are showing more interest in how much work AI can take over than in how intelligent it is.”
