Smart Tech Korea 2026
Samsung SDS, CLEVI and ElevenLabs all in attendance
AI agents taking over corporate tasks
Performing real tasks beyond answering questions
Automating everything from consultations and document creation to meetings
“Can this product also be implemented in our company?”
This was the question most frequently heard at every enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) booth in Hall A of ‘Smart Tech Korea (STK) 2026’, held on 12 June at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. As generative AI competition expands beyond simple document creation and searches to AI agents that perform real tasks, visitors showed keen interest.
In the past, exhibitions focused on introducing which large language model (LLM) they used, but this year was different. Demonstrations showing what tasks AI could actually take over in corporate settings continued throughout the exhibition hall. At some booths, long queues of company representatives waiting for consultations formed.
One of the places that attracted the most visitors was Samsung SDS. Samsung SDS placed its enterprise generative AI platform FabriX front and centre. Visitors paid close attention as it demonstrated how the platform connects internal data, finds materials, creates reports and supports work. For all three days of the event, so many visitors waited to hear explanations of the FabriX platform that they surrounded the booth.
CLEVI introduced Ivy, a multimodal AI platform. It is an enterprise AI agent that simultaneously understands documents, images and video data, searches internal knowledge and processes tasks. Company representatives continued to make enquiries after hearing that it could reduce repetitive work and increase the use of knowledge within organisations.
Acryl unveiled JONATHAN, an integrated AI platform. Its key feature is that it provides an integrated environment for operating AI services and building agents. GPUBASE, unveiled alongside it, is a solution that efficiently allocates and increases the utilisation of graphics processing unit (GPU) resources held by companies. As demand for GPUs surges with the spread of generative AI, it attracted the attention of company representatives because it can make efficient use of limited infrastructure.
Global voice AI company ElevenLabs unveiled its voice-based AI agent, ‘ElevenAgents’. It demonstrated natural voice conversations and content creation automation features, introducing their potential applications in customer service and the content industry.
Persona AI showcased a customer service solution combining AI agents and AI human technology. In particular, a demonstration connecting a humanoid robot with AI attracted the attention of visitors. It directly demonstrated that Persona AI’s AI technology can be integrated with physical AI. Crowds gathered to experience the humanoid robot, which was larger than a person, recognising voices and moving and performing actions naturally.
The competition among enterprise AI agents continued in Halls B and D. Rutton Technologies, one of South Korea’s leading generative AI companies, unveiled an AI contact centre (AICC) solution supporting customer service operations. It demonstrated features that automatically summarise consultations and recommend anticipated questions and answers.
MegazoneSoft introduced a platform that enables users to create and run AI agents directly, based on Google’s Gemini Enterprise. ITCEN showcased ‘AgentGo 2026’, which integrates and manages multiple AI agents in enterprise environments, entering the enterprise AI operations platform market.
On site, observers noted that the criteria for competition in AI had changed. Rather than which AI model is used, the ability to automate actual work and improve productivity is becoming the new competitive advantage.
An Xforum representative involved in preparing the event with MK Media said, “The phase of introducing generative AI has ended, and we are now moving into the phase of introducing AI agents that perform actual work,” adding, “Companies are more interested in how much AI can do on their behalf than in how intelligent it is.”
