CLEVI (Clevi) is an AI-specialized company that has developed a foundation model with 1.4 trillion parameters, possessing technological expertise that compares favourably with global big tech companies such as OpenAI. CLEVI CEO Lee Hwan-ho said, “Under the slogan ‘Once Fiction Now Reality’, our goal is to build the foundation that turns imagination and ideas into reality.” The key is to provide a platform that enables users to turn their imagination into reality without specialized knowledge.

CLEVI provides solutions across various fields based on its proprietary foundation model. A notable example is its advanced Coding Agent, which goes beyond simple code generation to provide automation that builds websites from start to finish and deploys them to servers according to the user’s requests. CEO Lee Hwan-ho said, “It is a technology suited to Vibe Coding, and many developers were impressed by its performance during the demonstration.”

CLEVI’s AI technology is also standing out in robotics and drones. In the field of Physical AI, when a person demonstrates a specific action approximately 50 times, the platform uses reinforcement learning to enable a robot to act autonomously. Previously, thousands to tens of thousands of repetitions were required, but CLEVI has reduced this to 30–50 repetitions, without requiring direct developer intervention. In addition, by generating synthetic data using its internal image-editing AI, CLEVI provides an efficient learning environment without the inconvenience of collecting real-world data.

In the drone field, specific situations such as disasters and emergencies are recognized, and the situation is analysed using AI prediction and camera vision. This enables the system to assess potential incidents and even determine response methods, allowing for rapid and efficient crisis response.

Digital Twins and Teleoperation Technology

CLEVI’s technological capabilities also stand out in the field of digital twins. By creating virtual environments, tests that are difficult or impossible to perform in real-world environments can be conducted. Based on this, data learned through teleoperation and synchronization was applied and augmented, making it possible to demonstrate a humanoid robot. A large language model (Large Language Model, LLM) was installed as on-device AI to enable the robot to assess situations and act like a person. Using this technology, CLEVI developed a solution that deploys robots instead of people in hazardous environments such as radioactive areas. Ultimately, the goal is to develop robots that can autonomously assess and act on commands they have not been trained on.

CLEVI has also addressed the issue of AI development and operating costs. Released in March 2025, the generative AI model 'Ivy' is a high-performance, low-cost model that reduces the burden on companies adopting AI, with development costs of approximately KRW 1.5 billion and average monthly operating costs of KRW 10 million. Ivy offers powerful features including real-time learning, multi-data processing, a code interpreter, and expert model creation, and recorded high scores in benchmark tests against Open AI, DeepSeek, and others.

Meanwhile, CLEVI has also established reliability in terms of security. To reduce concerns about personal information leaks resulting from the expanded use of AI assistants, the Ivy app allows users to sign up with only minimal personal information, while public institutions and companies can build security systems suited to their environments through on-premises installation.

CEO Lee Hwan-ho emphasized, “Ultimately, CLEVI’s goal is to create a platform,” adding, “We will provide a platform that allows people to create their own solutions through imagination, even without specialized knowledge.”
