🤖 Hello, this is Clevi.
We spent three days, from November 19 to 21, at the 2025 Korea Local Era Expo held at the Ulsan Exhibition and Convention Center.
Here’s the story of our three days showcasing Physical AI at the Gyeonggi Province pavilion. 🙌

What Is the 2025 Korea Local Era Expo?

Now in its fourth year, the Korea Local Era Expo is the largest regional policy exhibition in South Korea. Under the slogan “K-BALANCE 2025,” 17 cities and provinces and 47 organizations gathered in one place.
Co-hosted by the Presidential Committee on Local Era, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and Ulsan Metropolitan City, this event showcased each region’s policy achievements and vision for the future, centred on the national balanced growth strategy of five hubs and three special regions.
More than 60,000 people visited over the three days, and Ulsan officially promoted its vision of becoming the “AI Capital of Ulsan.”

While 17 cities and provinces set up exhibition halls by region, we at Clevi took our place in the Gyeonggi Province pavilion.

We participated as part of Gyeonggi Province’s exhibition of advanced industries and AI technology, and we couldn’t help feeling excited once the booth setup was complete.
We were both excited and a little nervous about how many people would be interested in Physical AI.

The Hottest Corner Over Three Days — Experience Robots Together

Motion imitation

When a visitor made a movement, the robot mirrored it in real time. It was the most intuitive way to demonstrate teleoperation technology.
Some visitors started by cautiously waving just their hands, then gradually became bolder, with some making movements using their whole bodies. It was especially memorable to see entire families taking turns trying the experience.

Rock-paper-scissors challenge

This event had visitors play rock-paper-scissors one-on-one against the robot, and it was much more popular than expected.

Visitors could experience firsthand how the AI recognized and interpreted their hand shapes using a camera. We saw many people say, “Just one more round!” after losing several times in a row, and there were also numerous moments when applause broke out around the winners.

"So what is this used for?"

Physical AI is a technology that brings AI, which had remained in the digital realm, into contact with the physical world.
Teleoperation is a method in which a robot reproduces a person's movements exactly, while on-device AI can be thought of as a small AI brain built into the robot itself.
In practice, it can be used in areas such as hazardous work environments, manufacturing sites, and disaster response.
Some people also asked, "Isn't this going to take people's jobs?" Our answer was:
"This technology does not replace people; it protects them."

From seniors speaking to the robots and people lining up to take selfies, to those amazedly saying, "So this kind of technology is coming from Gyeonggi Province"—we showcased Physical AI in person at a gathering of 60,000 people, received unexpected business inquiries, and spent three meaningful days enjoying a variety of attractions, including the Ulsan Pavilion's "Ulsan, the AI Capital" exhibition and the 5 Hubs, 3 Special Regions gourmet event.

Looking forward to our next meeting

Thank you to everyone who visited the Gyeonggi Province Pavilion booth.
You can meet Clevi again at the Engineering Festival taking place next week in Magok, Seoul. This time, we plan to showcase Coding Agent alongside Physical AI.
Experience Clevi's expanded range of AI technologies in person!
