“Can this product be applied to our company as well?”

This was the question heard most frequently at each corporate artificial intelligence (AI) booth in Hall A of ‘Smart Tech Korea (STK) 2026’, held on the 12th at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. As generative AI expands beyond simple document writing and searches into competition among AI agents that perform actual tasks, visitors showed keen interest.

In the past, exhibitions focused on introducing which large language model (LLM) was being used, but this year was different. Demonstrations showing the tasks AI could actually take over at corporate workplaces continued throughout the exhibition hall. At some booths, long queues formed of corporate representatives waiting for consultations.

Samsung SDS was one of the places that attracted the largest number of visitors. Samsung SDS placed its enterprise generative AI platform FabriX at the forefront. Visitors’ attention was drawn when the company demonstrated how the platform connects internal data to find information, prepare reports and support work. Throughout the three-day event, so many visitors waited around the booth to hear about the FabriX platform that it was surrounded by queues.

CLEVI introduced its multimodal AI platform Ivy. It is an enterprise AI agent that understands documents, images and video data simultaneously, searches internal knowledge and handles tasks. Corporate representatives continued to make enquiries after hearing that it could reduce repetitive work and increase the use of knowledge within organisations.

Acryl showcased the integrated AI platform JONATHAN. Its distinguishing feature is that it provides an integrated environment for operating AI services and building agents. GPUBASE, unveiled alongside it, is a solution that efficiently allocates and increases the utilisation of graphics processing unit (GPU) resources owned by companies. With demand for GPUs surging due to the spread of generative AI, it attracted the attention of corporate representatives by enabling the efficient use of limited infrastructure.

Global voice AI company ElevenLabs unveiled its voice-based AI agent, ‘ElevenAgents’. It demonstrated natural voice conversations and content creation automation features, introducing their potential applications in customer support and the content industry.

Persona AI showcased a customer engagement solution combining AI agents and AI human technology. In particular, its demonstration connecting a humanoid robot with AI attracted considerable attention from visitors. It directly demonstrated how Persona AI’s technology can be integrated with Physical AI. Crowds gathered to experience the humanoid robot, which was taller than a person, recognising speech and moving and performing actions naturally.

The competition among enterprise AI agents continued in Halls B and D. Wrtn Technologies, one of South Korea’s leading generative AI companies, unveiled an AI contact centre (AICC) solution that supports customer service operations. It demonstrated features that automatically summarise customer interactions and recommend anticipated questions and answers.

MegazoneSoft introduced a platform that enables users to build and run AI agents directly, based on Google’s Gemini Enterprise. ITCEN showcased ‘AgentGo 2026’, which centrally manages multiple AI agents in enterprise environments, as it sought to enter the enterprise AI operations platform market.

Observers at the event noted that the criteria for competition in AI have changed. Rather than which AI model is used, the new competitive advantage lies in how much actual work can be automated and productivity improved.

An official from Xforum, which prepared the event with Maeil Business Media, said, “The phase of introducing generative AI has ended, and we are now moving into the phase of introducing AI agents that perform actual work.” The official added, “Companies are more interested in how much work AI can take over than in how intelligent it is.”
