The first Industrial AI Expo was held from the 3rd to the 5th at the COEX Magok Convention Centre. Under the overarching theme ‘The convergence of AI and industry, leading a new industrial revolution’, the expo brought together future-oriented technologies and solutions integrating AI across industries, including energy, logistics, healthcare, climate tech and digital healthcare, going beyond manufacturing.
Attracting attention as Korea’s first specialised exhibition dedicated to industrial AI, the expo focused not only on the exhibition itself but also on revitalising the industrial AI ecosystem and creating practical business collaboration opportunities through various associated events, including conferences, the Industrial AI International Certification Forum, AI-Tech seminars, IR pitching and Business Connect.
HD Hyundai unveils a range of ‘people-centred’ smart industry innovation technologies at Industrial AI Expo 2025

At the Industrial AI Expo 2025, HD Hyundai presented its vision for the smart transformation of industries across manufacturing, including shipbuilding, construction and energy, through advanced AI technologies and innovative solutions. At the exhibition held at the Magok COEX Convention Centre, HD Hyundai showcased various AI-based innovative solutions under the central theme of a ‘people-centred smart industrial environment’, attracting considerable interest from visitors.
The exhibition focused on ‘HiCAMS’, a vessel and land-based safety monitoring and control solution incorporating digital twin technology, and ‘HiCBM’, an AI-based solution for real-time monitoring of equipment operating conditions and condition-based diagnosis and management. These solutions are next-generation technologies that can improve safety at complex manufacturing sites and prevent equipment failures in advance. They have now been implemented at actual shipyard sites, significantly improving worker safety and production efficiency.
The shipyard-specific AI interpretation and translation service ‘HD Agent’ also attracted attention. The service converts complex work instructions containing not only on-site terminology and foreign languages but even regional dialects into standard language in real time, maximising communication efficiency among workers and improving the accuracy of on-site work. In the experience zone at the exhibition hall, visitors could directly use HD Agent and experience the process of converting work instructions into standard language.
In addition, future technologies for the maritime and land-based industries were also unveiled, including ‘OceanWise’, which recommends optimal routes using vessel operation data; ‘Real-X’, a next-generation control solution for construction equipment incorporating reinforcement learning; mobile unmanned power-control vessels and unmanned surface vessels (USVs) for combat; and models of nuclear-powered vessels, offering a glimpse into the future of smart industrial sites.

The centrepiece of the exhibition was the NVIDIA DGX™ B200, a flagship system based on the latest GPU architecture. This next-generation supercomputer supports large-scale AI workloads such as LLMs (large language models), recommendation systems and generative chatbots. On site, its internal components, including the GPU, boards and cooling system, were actually disassembled to reveal their structure and operating principles. Technology professionals interested in AI performance and parallel processing optimisation continued to visit the exhibit.
The NVIDIA RTX™ PRO 6000 Blackwell Series, a high-performance GPU for professional workstations specialised for professional workloads, was also showcased. Equipped with 96GB of GDDR7 memory and the latest Tensor and RT cores, this GPU delivers performance optimised for demanding computing tasks such as high-resolution 3D modelling, real-time simulations and scientific visualisation.
Microsoft showcases the present and future of workplace innovation with generative AI ‘Copilot’

One of the most prominent booths at the exhibition was undoubtedly Microsoft. The large booth, with dozens of tablets arranged in a long row, attracted a steady stream of visitors throughout the event. This interactive space, where people could touch, enter information and observe the responses for themselves, focused not on simple promotion but on providing a practical user experience of Microsoft’s flagship generative AI solution, ‘Copilot’.
Copilot is Microsoft’s generative AI solution, integrated with OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology, and has already been applied across Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. The booth was designed so that participants could directly experience functions such as drafting emails, generating meeting summaries and analysing Excel data, allowing them to intuitively understand its usefulness in real-world work environments.
Copilot is more than just a ‘conversational AI’. Reports indicate that it can increase document creation speed by up to 12%, learn the user’s work style to provide increasingly personalised support, and reduce the time spent on repetitive tasks by more than 20 hours per week. It is also noteworthy that Copilot is built on Microsoft’s robust security framework and complies with major regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA, making it safe to use even in environments handling sensitive industry data.
Airobot makes its debut at Industrial AI EXPO with fourth-generation humanoid ‘ALICE 4’

Airobot is a company that has continued its research and development with the goal of commercialising and promoting the adoption of humanoid robots. It has built up its technological expertise by introducing various models, including Alice, Amy and Eddy, and unveiled its next-generation model, ‘ALICE 4’, at this Industrial AI EXPO.
The newly introduced ALICE 4 is characterised by precise control and low-noise walking. It adopts legs with a multi-link parallel structure and the SLIP (Spring-Loaded Inverted Pendulum) walking model, enabling stable walking, while its performance is being enhanced with the goal of achieving a walking speed of 3m/s. It also uses the AI platform ‘Isaac Groot’ to understand natural language and support the performance of various tasks in industrial environments.
At the booth, visitors could play a dice game directly with ALICE 4 and experience its vision and voice recognition capabilities. After the game ended, they were handed bottles of mineral water, allowing them to observe the robot’s smooth movements, which attracted attention.
Airobot implemented precise force control without a reducer by equipping its robots with self-developed linear actuators. This technology enables delicate actuation through backdrive functionality and high current sensitivity, while its thermal management design enhances stability and durability. Its low gear ratio also reduces noise, making it suitable for environments where it works alongside people.
Meanwhile, Airobot is also participating in the expansion of the industrial ecosystem through its involvement in the government-led ‘K-Humanoid Alliance’. Last July, it also raised a Series A investment of KRW 1 billion, demonstrating its technological competitiveness.
An Airobot representative said, “ALICE 4 is a robot developed to perform practical roles in industrial settings,” adding, “We will continue pursuing innovations that can lead the humanoid market.”
HP Korea unveils workstation lineup optimised for AI development

HP Korea introduced the Z Series workstations, specialised for high-performance computing environments such as AI development, 3D modelling and data analysis. HP Z AI Workstations are professional PCs designed to maintain stability during prolonged, high-load workloads, unlike custom-built PCs or gaming PCs. They provide major ISV-certified software and AI security features, and hold the No. 1 share of the workstation market in South Korea (2021 Q3–2025 Q1, IDC).
The ‘Z8 Fury G5’, showcased as a flagship product at this exhibition, can accommodate up to four NVIDIA RTX 6000 series graphics cards and up to two AMD Radeon PRO W680 graphics cards. Its thermal control design has been enhanced to enable high-performance GPUs to operate at maximum performance simultaneously, while efficiently supporting complex workloads such as large-scale data processing and sLLM training.
HP Korea also emphasised its strategy of meeting the needs of professionals in diverse environments through its desktop and mobile workstation line-ups. The booth also showcased a workstation-based video surveillance solution, presenting real-world applications that leverage AI infrastructure.
An HP Korea representative emphasised that “a workstation is a robust body that can bring a well-designed AI solution to life”, adding, “We will continue to develop AI solutions and hardware together to meet the needs of industrial sites.”
UVC demonstrates ‘OCTOPUS’, a full-cycle digital twin solution

UVC is a company that has provided smart factory solutions based on its accumulated experience in the manufacturing digital twin sector. Its proprietary platform, based on OPC UA international standard technology, supports IIoT connectivity and data analysis, while integrating various OT and IT technologies to implement a digital twin environment.
At this exhibition, UVC showcased ‘OCTOPUS’, a full-cycle solution for autonomous manufacturing. Held under the theme ‘All About AI Factory’, the exhibition featured demonstrations of ‘OCTOPUS Insight AI’, an AI-based analytics platform, and ‘OCTOPUS MCP Center’, an AI-based control centre, from among the eight OCTOPUS solutions, allowing visitors to experience them first-hand.
During the exhibition, UVC CEO Cho Gyu-jong also delivered a presentation. Under the topic ‘Is manufacturing AI the brain, and can autonomous manufacturing be achieved with that alone?’, he addressed the limitations of introducing AI at manufacturing sites. Division Head Cho Ye-chang shared real-world examples of autonomy in industrial settings through ‘From DX to AX: The unmanned and autonomous digital twin strategies chosen by leading companies’.
An interactive event featuring OCTOPUS’s octopus mascot plush toy was also held at the booth. Visitors could intuitively experience robot control based on Physical AI alongside the octopus character, making it easier to understand digital twin technology.
A UVC representative stated, “This exhibition is an opportunity to showcase our vision for an integrated solution for the AI transformation of the manufacturing industry. In particular, visitors will be able to directly experience an autonomous manufacturing environment, centred on Insight AI and MCP Center, where AI makes decisions independently and controls processes.”
Mobilint targets ‘ARIES’ and low-power ‘REGULUS’ industrial AI with high-performance, low-power NPUs

Mobilint is an NPU specialist company that develops SoCs capable of ultra-low-power, high-efficiency AI computing using its proprietary technology. Leading the Edge AI era, it supplies lightweight AI semiconductors applicable to smart mobility, IoT, security and healthcare, and has the capability to independently carry out the entire SoC design process.
At this exhibition, Mobilint displayed its AI semiconductor product lines, ‘ARIES’ and ‘REGULUS’. ARIES is a high-performance NPU that delivers up to 80 TOPS of performance with power consumption of 25W, and is available in various form factors, including the PCIe card ‘MLA100’ series and the standalone AI box ‘MLX-A1’. At the exhibition, an ARIES-based card was installed in a PC to demonstrate AI computing such as vision recognition, image analysis and natural language processing. Demonstrations included high-resolution video restoration, verification of LLM inference speed in a local environment and multi-channel video analysis.
REGULUS is a low-power SoC optimised for on-device AI. It provides computing performance of 10 TOPS while consuming only 3–5W of power. With a high-performance CPU, AI engine and general-purpose interfaces built in, it can perform AI functions independently without connecting to a server, making it suitable for a wide range of devices, including robots, drones, AI CCTV and smart home devices.
Through this exhibition, Mobilint presented a strategy to respond to the demand for on-device AI, which is expanding from data centres to the field. It is also expanding its global partnerships and recently signed a strategic agreement with Aetina, a Taiwanese embedded platform company, to accelerate the commercialisation of AI edge computing.
A Mobilint representative said, “ARIES and REGULUS are NPU solutions that satisfy both high performance and low power consumption. We will continue our collaboration and technological innovation to accelerate the adoption of edge AI across various industrial sites.”
Wonpredict presents its vision for autonomous manufacturing with ‘AI Factory OS’

OnePredict is a company leading innovation in industrial operations and maintenance (O&M) by combining AI with domain expertise. At this year’s Industrial AI Expo, it officially announced its new brand tagline, ‘AI Factory Company’, declaring its transformation into a specialist in autonomous manufacturing AI.
At the centre of the exhibition was the industrial AI operating system ‘AI Factory OS’. The platform comprises the manufacturing data-based platform ‘Cyclone’ and the equipment and process performance management solution ‘Gadion pdx’ as its core components. Cyclone collects, refines, manages and assetises the vast amounts of data generated at manufacturing sites, enabling AI models to be operated based on this data. Gadion pdx is an integrated platform that simultaneously diagnoses and predicts equipment and process performance. It performs predictive maintenance and quality prediction together and has already been validated across various industrial sites.
Through AI Factory OS, OnePredict presented a vision for an intelligent operating system that encompasses entire factories, moving beyond monitoring individual equipment. Its strategy is to gradually expand specialised applications such as AI-MMS, AI-MES and AI-FEMS, based on Cyclone and pdx, to support tangible outcomes including optimised equipment maintenance, production scheduling, and energy and carbon reduction.
A OnePredict representative said, “AI Factory OS is a core platform for making autonomous manufacturing a reality. We will build an ecosystem capable of driving innovation across the industry, going beyond operational efficiency at manufacturing sites.”
